Below is just a sampling of the wonderful shops and bistros located in the little town of San Carlos. Park your car on one end and walk the strip, tasting and shopping along the way. By far gaining in popularity over the years, yet not overwhelming.
The Office
A good food spot to grab a burger, play a game of Bocce Ball, sit outside by the fire pits watching flames dance on beach glass. A great place to people watch, it can get very crowded. Worth the trip especially when looking for a place with outdoor seating for one of our hot California summer nights.

Pushing Daisies
Denise, the nicest person you will ever meet and owner of Pushing Daisies, a bucket flower shop and gift store. A tiny storefront that is a must stop while strolling down Laurel Street.

Positano
A lovely little Italian Restaurant with outside dining for people watching. The food is amazing and the owners make you feel as if you are a guest in their home.
Next stop,
The Olive Crush where you will experience and it is an experience the most delicious high-quality organic olive oils. Mike the owner with his vast knowledge of his products will explain the importance of using in season olives to create the oils.

Either before dinner (thats how I roll) or after this little family owned ice cream shop will hit the spot. The service is outstanding thanks to Anna the owner's daughter and Joey. The minute you walk in you are welcomed by their infectious good nature and wonderful up beat environment. Grab some goofy foot ice cream and say hi to Anna and Joey!!
